JUMP SPACE CHARITY WINS AT a&b GOLF DAY

a&b Insurance Brokers held their annual charity golf day at Hazel Grove Golf Club on Thursday 31st May.  Having missed the glorious sunshine of the previous week 11 teams of players braved the rain for the competition.

Following a round of golf, players gathered for a prize presentation, raffle and short auction all in aid of Jump Space a small local charity based in Edgeley Stockport. ‘We are always keen to link our events to fund raising and this year we are delighted to have Jump Space as our nominated charity’ said Dave Riley, Director at a&b.  ‘We have been trading in the area for over 20 years and it is important for us to be able to support local causes.’

Jump Space provides essential facilities for underprivileged and disabled children from our town and runs largely on volunteers dedication so donations are essential. The day raised over £1500 for this very worthy cause.

Further fundraising events planned this year include a 3 Peaks Challenge being undertaken by staff and a charity Quiz Night later in the year.
